What individual therapy looks like

Individual therapy is one-to-one work between you and your therapist. You set the pace. Sessions are a place to understand what you are carrying, make sense of patterns, and build ways of coping that fit your life.

Lindsey works collaboratively and meets you where you are. Early sessions focus on understanding what brings you in and what you want to be different. From there, you and your therapist decide together how to work, drawing on the approaches that fit your needs.

Individual therapy here can help with trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship patterns, and emotional regulation.

Lindsey draws on EMDR, Brainspotting, DBT, CBT, Compassion-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and somatic work, and chooses among them by listening to what you need. You can read more about each on the specialties pages.

How sessions work

Sessions are typically weekly or as needed, and each is about 45 to 55 minutes. You and your therapist review how things are going and adjust as you go.
